Mr. Sugiyama, CEO of Sun-up Corporation (Thailand) Limited was honored to be invited by Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) and JETRO Bangkok to participate in the meeting to exchange ideas for sustainable development for Bangkok.
The event was attended by Dr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok, Dr. Kessara Thanyalakpark, Chief Strategy and Financial Advisor Deputy and other management from BMA, Mr. Jun Kuroda, President, and other members from JETRO Bangkok. Also, 9 Japanese companies also attended the meeting.
We discussed transportation and infrastructure, city water, reduction of CO2 and so on through having presentations by Japanese companies. We introduced our solutions to reduce waste and prevent from illegal dumping through recycling wasted organic solvent and treatment of highly-contaminated wasted water. Moreover, We also introduced IoT energy-saving solution for air-conditioners.
BMA aims to reduce greenhouse gas by 19% until 2030 and achieve net zero emissions until 2050. We keep on developing our solutions to contribute to the society and environment in Bangkok as well.
